Must have a lot of talent on the big board.  Y'all going to sign about 30 this time?
No, just 25.

If we land our main targets, we have a legitimate shot at the #1 class on 247.
Over Alabama?

We would have to land all four of our targets and have Alabama add no one, but there's a chance.

Would any Bama recruits have to decommit?

Not that I know of. This is only 247 mind you. Alabama's already run away with it on Rivals and ESPN.

OT Andrew Mike chooses between PSU, UAr, and UF sometime today too; I'm pretty sure he's already picked UAr.
He just committed to Vandy.

I think it was a combo of the kid has his sights on med school AND he'll probably play right away at Vandy. We're going to have a logjam on the OL here in the next few years

What are the realistic chances Solomon Thomas picks Arkansas over Stanford and UCLA.

Yeah, saw that; guess those UAr prognosticators were a little off.

Of course, he did just visit Vandy at the last minute, and they only had 9 commitments; so I'm sure the depth chart, or lack thereof, was attractive to him.

As is plainly obvious, class rankings can vary quite significantly depending on whether you're grading it on the number of recruits plus the quality of those recruits (total points) or whether you're simply grading it on quality alone (average star ranking of each player in the class).

Bama has a pretty full class and the highest average player rating to boot, so they end up #1 no matter how you slice it. The others aren't nearly as clear; when the classes are ranked solely by the average grade of the players in a class (quality), the teams move around considerably.

Quite a few teams are far from finished with their classes, and a couple teams are in the running for some of the very best recruits in the country; so these rankings may move quite a bit more before it's all said and done.

Should be a lot of fun come NSD. Best of luck to everyone still hoping to land additional blue-chippers.

As of now, I will not be surprised if we get no big commits of signing day, it won't be a big deal if we come up empty, although. Our class is already very talented and deep, and we already have key prospects at our most needed positions.

Same here; we've landed what we needed in this class already and I'd be satisfied if this was it.

But we are in it for several more major NSD decisions and since I've never been one to turn down a little extra gravy for my mashed taters, I'm looking forward to Wednesday.

NSD is the last football-related day until spring-football, I'm gonna enjoy it while it's here.
And hey, I'm not gonna turn down Dupre or Mckenzie if they pick up the Ole Miss hat off of the table.
