I'm sure it has a lot to do with the weather. I assume it's rainy for all sec states during those months and with that comes thunderstorms. I know August and September are bad in Kentucky. I'd imagine practices have been cancelled because of it

Fundraising has never been a problem for UK, it's always been a lack of support from the administration toward football.  Well not anymore.

We have one, but are starting to build a new one right around Williams Brice.

Here is a link to what it will look like along with the area about WB:

Is this an IPF?
Yes, plus two outdoor ones.  To be clear, we already have two outdoor fields plus the Nutter Indoor Facility.  This is an entirely new deal.  Stepping our game up.

They practice on the football field inside Nutter when it rains. Having track team and whoever else in there during those times are probably part of the reason for this.  Shows recruits we ARE dedicated to football success now.  Expanding our S&C capabilities a la Bama and Tennessee recently is another.  Player cafeteria,  improved locker rooms and coaching offices, recruiting rooms, top of the line film rooms.....

... how soon til I can renew my season tickets? Stooooops!

Tennessee's facility cost $42 mil and it's immaculate.  I don't know what the extra $3 mil is going to get us that they didn't put in in Knoxville....maybe waterfalls in every locker?

back in my college days I took a tour of that place.  they were harvesting some and kept throwing it on a 40 foot tarp. I had to laugh when they rolled it up and tied off the ends.

If you are not building some little thing most every year whether it is a practice field and a waterfall in the locker room or an indoor facility and a new athletics dorm then you are falling behind.

I agree, seems like you build a best in the league facility and within 10 years it's middle of the pack. That's a great thing about the SEC,lots of money flowing in.
