Here's the deal Vanilla Ice, so stop, collaborate and listen. When you make it to the National Championship and you lose it, while up 21-3 at one point, it's the biggest possible failure imaginable. Now, you can continue this pitiful ring around a rosie routine, but there is no hiding the truth. Auburn failed, miserably. To have a dynasty, you need a National Championship. Get the point? Probably not, you'll spin.

Watch as Neil Caudle Isn't Jameis Winston spins his next track. We're waiting.

In fact to have a "dynasty" you have to have SEVERAL NC's.....And Alabama fans didn't start this talk of "dynasty" to begin with. The media started it and Alabama was stuck with it.

So making it to the National Championship and losing on a last minute drive is a big failure for a team that went 3-9 the previous year (somehow a bigger failure than a team projected and expected to win the National Championship losing its two last games)?

You make me LOL.

Now why would I think you're trolling?

I fully expect Bama to make the playoffs in the next three years. Are you saying you honestly don't?

No, I do. I just don't necessarily see them winning the natty in a cakewalk

We'll see what Coker can do

I am very excited to see if Coker contributes. I see us having a QB like 2011 AJ this year, take care of the football and rely more on the run game.

Fair enough. I would tend to agree. Coker is definitely an unknown at this point.

That was a weak spin, I've only heard that track now 5 times. The problem is, Auburn still lost and everyone in the SEC knows the National Championship is where it counts. It's too bad Auburn's rival had already won 2 in a row and 3 in the last 4. Kind of hilarious to think it's a negative to finally not achieve the highest goal in a season.

Sucks to suck.

Lettuce bee cereal, in a world without miracles Auburn is 9-3 anyway....

But as far as the original topic, I don't see Bama getting back to back titles anytime soon, and maybe not another national title for a while. So really the question is, after being so dominant for the last 5 years, will Saban be willing to settle for Cotton Bowls and Capital One Bowls with a playoff spot every 5 years or so?

You shouldn't smoke that Posted Image this early in the morning no matter what the folks in Colorado do.

Bama has been a handful of plays from playing in every championship since 2008, Saban about to sign the best class he's signed since coming to Bama.. that was best class if you didn't hear me. Now we start a playoff that will only make getting a NC shot easier and you think its just gonna stop?
