I think Marshall may have a chance at getting RS but I doubt it, supposedly he is ahead of schedule

Yea i doubt it.

Here is how i see this playing out.

Gurley and Marshall this year, Michel and Chubb NEED to redshirt.
Gurley leaves at the end of next year. Giving Marshall the preseason #1 spot with Michel and Chubb battling for #2.  Now If neither redshirt. You have two proven backs, and two fresh backs. Just too much to work in.  Neither will see much playing time as long as Gurley stays healthy

Yea man. We are borderline overcrowded

Might need to think about making JJ Green a corner. Leaving Bdoug in as a bruiser back.

Almost wanna say redshirt Michel and Chubb, but i know they wont.

This is hardly ever a good idea I think, now a days if RBs are good..... they are gone in 3 years regardless, why not play them for 3

True, but i doubt either will start over a healthy Gurley.  And as freshman they arent thinking pro off the bat. They are normally thinking, learn the system especially from an elite back like Gurley.

Yeah but at least they will get some playing time if we need them, like I said above RBs go three and done if they are worth the hype anyway

Good point, they could get in some good reps on mop up duty against teams like UF, UT, Tech, etc though

True.  It will be interesting for sure. Really shocked we got another stud tandem coming in so soon. Guess we could have worse problems. LOl

About GD time. Thought we were doomed with Caleb King and Crowell.

Now we have Gurley, Marshall, Green, Douglas, Chubb, Michel and all of them seem like stand up guys. Very fortunate.

Bitch please!  You left Damian Williams off the list.  That's why you don't have an elite QB on there!   :P

Maty Mauk: 143.1 passer rating = 68/133 (51%), 1071 yards, 8.1 ypa, 11 tds, 2 ints
Dylan Thompson: 140.4 passer rating = 52/89 (58%), 783 yards, 8.8 ypa, 4 tds, 3 ints
Patton Robinette: 117.2 passer rating = 46/88 (52%), 642 yards, 7.3 ypa, 4 tds, 5 ints
Joshua Dobbs:  103.3 passer rating = 72/121 (60%), 695 yards, 5.7 ypa, 2 tds, 6 ints

Until proven otherwise, major dropoff for SC and UGA. Cant say the same about the others. All in all, there is no clear cut elite level QB on this list like Murray and Shaw were last year.
how nice that a dog fan only includes stats from last season and not career stats...hmmm...

Not to mention one of the scariest backfields in college football
Carolina says, "whats to be scared of?" our backfield is just as good...if not better and deeper...with more experience!

It was a post about 2013. No one is holding you back from posting career stats, so hop to it.

Certainly a lot of new faces at the QB position across the league. Plenty of talent coming back at the RB position though.
