Apparently going to Texas as WR coach. Who's our new "OC?"

Dan Mullen.

Do you think we'll hire someone to take the OC job, or will he be one of those head coaches who actually acts as his own OC? Then, obviously we'll need a special teams coach

I personally think he'll hire an OC really more a Qb coach and not a ST coach.  We struggled in the Fg department only. He could get Brian Hazelwood to volunteer and help with Fg's. Occasionally everyone gets a punt blocked so I'm not worried there.

Me nice guy Dan didn't even have to fire him.  Unless it was a behind the scenes thing.

Probably not.  I'd bet 2 things are at play here.

1.  That's Koenigs alma mater.  He played for UT in the 70s IIRC.
2. TX can pay him more to be a WRs coach than we can to be OC

Anyone hearing prospective names? Rousell mentioned Jay Johnson from ULL and Scelfo from the Jags.
