After such high caliber draft picks as Blake Bortles (UCF) and Teddy Bridgewater (Louisville), how do you think the SEC QBs will stack up?

My predictions:
  • Manziel  (great arm, great mobility, great acumen)
  • Mettenberger  (best NFL arm, no mobility, immature [fixable])
  • McCarron  (okay arm, okay mobility, smart, learns fast)
  • Murray  (okay arm [inconsistent R us], somewhat fragile, decently smart)
  • Shaw (inconsistent arm, great mobility, pretty smart, very tough)

JF should be the first player taken in the draft only if the goal of that team is to win games.

I've hated on JF and we'll probably trade the house, the kids, and both cars to get him.

Karma.

Lol.  He still threw for 100+ yards and 1 TD on a torn ACL.  He's a DGD.

Eh ACL tears for him and Metts will cost them big. Id expect either not to go before the 3rd or 4th round.

I don't think any of them will have very much of a career in the league.
"I didn't come to Alabama to win 10 games a year and be a contender. I came here to win championships, Conference Championships, and National Championships. I love it here because that's not just what I want, but what this fan base expects." -Alabama Head Football Coach Nick Saban

  • Shaw (inconsistent arm, great mobility, pretty smart, very tough)

So Murray has a Masters in Industrial Leadership, will likely ace the Wonderlic, is a fantastic leader, started 50 straight games without an injury, yet he's "somewhat fragile" and "decently smart."
