I'm going to be really disappointed if we don't close on all these elite players we seem to be leading for.

Lewis looks like a good get; he's already got good size for the secondary.

As bad as last year was, the thought of playing in the Swamp recruits itself.

Hopefully we can stay healthy this year and give these guys another reason to like the program.

I believe yall will turn it around but UGA is dangerous IMO.

Gurley is dangerous; but I'm not too sure about Mason at QB.

Right now I think USC is a more impressive team... can't ignore 3 11-win seasons in a row. They lost to UGA last year, but had won the previous 3.

Take a common opponent like cLIMPson for example; USC has beat them 5 straight, by 10, 14, 17, 21, and 22 points.

UGA lost to cLIMPson last year and play them right out of the gate again this year; so we should know right away what UGA's got.

UGA is only as dangerous as Richt and Bobo are.
They may very well beat us for a 4th year in a row, but they won't surpass our program for the foreseeable future.

Another factor will be DC Jeremy Pruitt. He was DC at Free Shoes last year and used to coach our DB's. He will have 10 returning starters to work with.

He's got a lot of work ahead of him. He can't possibly be worse than UGA's last 2 or 3 DC's, but they haven't had much luck there.

He was at FSU for a year; and it's hard to judge what he did at Bama because Saban and Smart were both DB coaches by trade before moving up, and still like to stay involved there.

Like QB, I'll wait and see what they look like before I pass judgement.

I can't imagine their defense being any worse than it has been recently.

8/9 win season and the recruiting flood gates will open.

Gained a commitment from Athlete Jalen Julius. He's a 3* CB(247), an UR RB (ESPN & Rivals) and a 3* WR (Scout).

He's from Winter Garden, FL and goes to West Orange High School. He says as of right now, he'll be playing on the defensive side of the ball.

LB Adonis Thomas (who is believed to be a UF Lean) will be announcing August 1st. The 4* LB who will be a SLB/Emergency Buck in our scheme, hails from Lawrenceville, Georgia and holds offers from UF, Alabama, UGA, Ohio State and Texas.

4* WR(/Athlete) Deon Cain from Tampa, Florida hasn't picked an exact date, but will also be picking in the beginning of August. He's visited UF multiple times in recent months and has had more time with Offensive Coordinator Kurt Roper learning how his system works and where he vits in, to which he likes. He holds offers from UF, FSU, Clemson and Miami.

5* Buck/DE CeCe Jefferson has visited UF about 5 times in the past couple of weeks, the most recent visit was an unplanned one, but his mother was also with him and she has never toured the facilities or met some of the coaches so it was a good visit in our favor.
