I meant QB.

I think we won't really know until someone emerges as the leader this spring. Gonna be fun to find out!

They think they *stole* him from Saban
Yeah.  Bless their hearts.

Nuss got about a $100,000 raise in going to UM.  If Saban had wanted to keep him, beating that price would not have been an issue.

This move proves Brady Hoke is an absolute dumbass

Nuss may be a better fit for Michigan than at Bama.  For all his faults, Nuss is definitely an upgrade from Borges.

Nuss is a good OC, and an excellent developer of QBs. We just set all kinds of offensive records the last two seasons with him at the helm...you couldn't possibly argue that he hasn't done a good job. , I just think he got too cute for Saban's liking. And with AJ leaving, it's the perfect time for Nuss to start something new. This is a good hire for Michigan.

Hoke is trying to save his ass. He's not even the 5th best coach in the conference (and will fall farther with Franklin's arrival)

Michigan almost doubled Nussimeier's salary and made him the third highest paid assistant coach in the country with a salary of $1.2m.

Just think, three years ago Nussimeier made under $300k at Washington.

OK, now THOSE numbers are a little ridiculous...

No wonder we let him go, he's a solid coach but I don't think he's worth that much..

Who's the favorite to land the starting job at Bama next year? Bateman?

It's wide open at this point, as wide open as I've ever seen actually.

FWIW, a few of my good friends who are pretty-well connected in Birmingham as a Bama fan as been saying for the last month that Saban was recruiting Kiffin to come aboard...  He said when Kiffin was interviewed today he was offered the job and is just deciding whether or not he wants top hold out for another HC spot somewhere or if he's going to accept this job... It doesn't mean that this is 100% true but they usually don't say anything unless it's something from a pretty secure source. They were talking about Saban's contract sitting on his desk waiting to be signed and Saban waiting because he was pissed about the new AD not catering to him enough like Mal whatshisface did while all the Texas shit was going on, too.

My friend's are pissed.
I'm LOL'ing.

Only downside is that I won't say Posted Image anymore if Kiffin is a Bama coach because I don't want a Bama coach's face in my posts.*

*Yes, I know Saban's in my signature, I was trying to be hypocritical since this is a Bama board thread.
