I would change your statement about your offense to one of the best.

Missouri finished 5th last year in total offense.

1. A&M  Lost Mr. football at QB
2. Alabama Lost their starting QB
3. Auburn Lost our leading rusher
4. UGA Lost their starting QB.

Auburn right now has three QB's on the roster that have started games in their career.

And Mizzou didn't lose anyone on offense....or at least that's what I read somewhere.

They lost their stating QB from last year. They do however have a backup that played a lot last year and started some.
I show they lost senior wide outs: Lucas 58 recp, Washington 50 recp, and Clark with 10
LT starter and backup: Britt and Gatti
LG Copeland

Auburn has 8 starters back on offense. Losses LT, FB and RB.

I know. Just referencing the Mizzou fan who told me they didn't lose anything. They also lost their best RB...but it's ok because he was only the "co" starter.

Here we go again with this mess. SC scored on all but two drives in that game. One of those drives was by Thompson, the other was a kneel down. Kentucky was never close to winning because we established early on that if we needed to, we could have produced more TDs and less FGs.
This was established when we were up by 4 scores lightening fast. Its not uncommon that when a team gets up so huge for the other team to chip away. Considering on defense youre putting your younger guys out there to get some playing time.
No one other than Pudding Time actually thought that Kentucky automatically became good magically after being down by like a million points early. Eerily similar scenario with the Vandy game.
Only Vandys defense actually started stopping us.

The UCF game worried me mainly because Bortles was a good QB and we kind of sputtered.

I sense a theme in the bold.

Be thankful you had Shaw there to run very well when it became a 6 point game in the 4th Q. SC went 35+ minutes without scoring a TD, so lets not act like yall were an unstoppable force on offense.

As opposed to DJ that is afraid of the massive backlash and ridicule that happened 6 years ago, the last time he put forth an original opinion or specific prediction on UGA football. At best you might back him into a corner and get a 5 five game range of possible UGA records. He prefers to read a box score and pretend the actual game didn't happen.

Its a shame you dont understand what box scores are. They can be quite useful when discussing games because they tell you all about what happened during a game, but only if you prefer to use facts. The only chance you usually ever have of being correct is when unpredictable things occur like special teams mistakes, injuries, fumbles and bad ref calls. When wacky stuff like that doesnt go down, your 13-16 predictions turn into 25-4, which is embarrassinly bad.

seeing as how you completely missed the point of his post, let me say it again...it doesn't matter how long we we went without scoring as we had the game in control, and didn't need to run up the score. we were also playing with backups, you know to build depth, but as a dog fan im sure stuff like that is over your head!

When a big lead shrinks to 6 points, its kind of a stretch to claim the game is "under control". It was a weak point just as your "backup" point is.

Discussing a game solely on box scores< discussing a game you actually watched.

As a rule I am usually a play or 2 away in games I am wrong about. Since you only discuss box scores you can't see it. For instance the UT UGA game this past year. The box score says UGA won and if you didn't watch the game you can pretend it was never in doubt but reality is the game was UTs to lose. Another example would be UT Vandy last year, the box score will not tell you that a replay official made up a 1 time use rule on the fly on a 4th down stop that was unreviewable and he reviewed and overruled a spot on the field.

Has Phil Steele or athlon came out yet? I can't wait to see you regurgitate their opinions instead of actually discussing football. Its like a security blanket for you. No one can see that you never played the game outside of video games or call you out for not knowing Posted Image about the game if you never actually discuss the games. I wouldn't bother to visit and post on message boards if the sum total of what I could add was to repeat others opinions or box scores.

Remember that year CMR used games to get next years starters reps? Or to get a back up QB some meaningful playing time? Neither does anyone else.
