I don't care as long as he is gone. I'd rather have Jim Donnan. At least Donnan was a beast at recruiting. He was so good at recruiting players he decided he'd recruit people into a Pyramid scheme too

I think I would honestly cry with joy if they took that clown from us. Please, Texas I beg of you. Georgia could go hire an over achiever like Franklin away from Vandy

A steaming turd for all I care. But, there are realistic options that would suck less than Richt. James Franklin has taken Vandy bowling years in a row (something Richt could never dream of doing at a school like Vanderbilt). Schiano might not have been a good fit in the NFl but he would probably do well in college similar to Saban (though him being THAT good would be a pipe dream). Kirby Smart could be a good one. Several NFL coordinators and of course the obligatory Jon Gruden mention

whoa whoa whoa

I don't mind firing Richt but we can do better than Franklin

I'm only in favor of firing Richt if we have a chance at a home run hire, which none really come to mind

Answer this question honestly, please. Do you think Mark Richt would go bowling multiple years in a row at Vanderbilt? Do you think he would beat/close games vs. teams like Georgia, Florida, Tennessee and South Carolina?

He wouldn't have AJ Green's, Stafford's, Murray's, Gurley's, Moreno's to carry him into bowl games

What do you mean? Who would beat a team with those types of players? Evidently very many with Mark Richt leading the team that had said talent
