I know what CJF makes and your total is way way off!!

Jimmy who...don't know any jimmy...and if it's CJF, yes he could be , I don't know what other coaches in the SEC make. He would take a pay cut from what the PS coach made last season and was paid more than Dooley in his last season at UT. Vandy is a private school and doesn;t have to tell $$$ to anybody, but I know...I'm Hoganknows Vandy Fan...got it???

4,000,000 a year salary would put him as a top 10 highest paid coach in the country. He is not a top 10 highest paid coach in in the country. 2.8-3.0 a year is more realistic. And if you include total compensation he still isn't making what Arkys Bretboy is making. Per USA today Jimmy doesn't make 4 million total compensation. Per saturdaysdownsouth he makes 3 million, per gamedayr.com he makes 3 million. Why do you think jimmy boy is paid a million dollars a year more than he actually is?

at least we kicked those players off the team

The 2 players that moved the girl back into the room she was raped in were allowed to stay. The dude that handled the cover up is still in school.

It seems like places up north nowadays are more racist than places down south. I know a black friend that said he has received 10X the amount of racist comments up north than down south, and that's when he grew up in the south and only took northern trips for school shit.

They are. At least from my personal experiences. I lived in Indiana for about a year right after I graduated high school before I moved back down South. I've also heard horror stories from my wife, who grew up in Michigan. And I still remember comments from my dad's side of the family (they live in Utah) about how there were "so many black people" when they came to visit us in 'Bama one year when I was a kid. They don't even know how to handle it.

The difference is that in the North (and many other places throughout the country), they don't have to deal with racism because the non-city schools are like 95% white. There is absolutely no racial diversity in those small-town communities They live in a bubble, yet throw stones at Southerners for being racist. It's easy to claim you "aren't racist" when you only have to interact wtih that "one black family" maybe a couple of times a year.

That's not to say racism doesn't still exist in the South - it does - I just hate that it's stereotypically attached to us, when it's even more prevalent in other parts of the country.

Anyways. Back to the thread topic. I am looking forward to another entertaining James Franklin press conference.

Bruce Feldman just tweeted that Franklin is "expected" to be the next Penn St. coach.

I don't know whether "expected" is hedging his bets or poorly worded declaration though.

Feldman's reliable so it's at least a strong likelihood if not already done.
