Texas Tech just snapped the ball on 2nd down with 32 seconds left on the play clock. That's a true hurry up.
Ducks were pretty much doin the same thing. My point is, they don't run up,get set and then everybody look at the sideline.  and let 25 to 30 seconds run off the clock.
"Whenever I see those crimson jerseys and crimson helmets, I feel humbled to have played football for Alabama. Other players in the NFL talk to me about their schools and their traditions. I just smile knowing the immense love Alabama fans have for our school and its football program. I'm proud to be a part of that Crimson Tide heritage."

Hate old Mack went out like that. I always liked him.
I'm certain the national media is relieved. They can kiss State's ass and go back to the old "Ole Miss is Waycist" narrative. Meanwhile I hope Gameday has fun in Morgantown. Look out for burning couches!

Mack seems like a good guy. He just reminds me a lot Ron Polk. Polk was the baseball coach at MSU for years, took us to some of our best seasons, but the game eventually got to be too much for him. He lost a lot of his fire, and basically stopped recruiting, thinking that players would come to the name he'd built. It didn't work, and eventually he had to go. Still sad to see a legend put out to pasture.

Amen CN,if you're camping out at the line and bobbing up and down that ain't hurry up,it's annoying and will most likely be ruled out soon,I hope.

They've taken the player decision making out of the game. They want to run to the line so the defense can't sub then get set, see what the defense is in let the coach read the defense bounce up like prairie dogs and get the play. I don't blame any team for faking injury to stop this BS.

come on yall, can't substitute? yes you can. if offense does then refs lets defense. if not go ahead and drop for a leg cramp. I don't care. all I got to say is be in better shape than us when we play and you won't be bothered by what Ole Miss does with time management. I really didn't see where it bothered anybody we played this year. I like it cause freeze tends to out think himself if he has too much time on his hands. he play calls much better in a rhythm.

For the record, I don't unlike this either. I think it should result in a false start penalty. But Arkansas does it some too. Just throwing that out there to avoid homeroticism.

Everyone uses that get the defense in better shape but that's not the case most defensive players are already in great shape. The thing is it is more exhausting playing defense guys wear down much quicker playing defense. Take the OL for example most teams play the same five guys the whole game and only fill their roster for that... on the other side teams have a full rotation of defensive linemen and recruit a roster full of them.

Even with wide receivers and defensive backs the guy that knows where he's going has an advantage and uses less effort than the guy chasing him around.

I wasn't really directing towards any team a lot are doing it. Its more of the HS game coming to college football letting the coach do most of the thinking.

It isn't against the rules but neither is subbing the defense by fake injury.

You and me both. He got the best of Bobby Stoops on the last go around, but Stoops owned Mack.

Now, Stoops will never get the chance to avenge that loss. Lol
