Missouri's 1969 team was a record setter in manyways. The Tigers, 9-1 Big Eight co-champions and ranked 5thin the country, set records for points and total yards gained ina season. Quarterback Terry McMillan and running back JoeMoore set individual records for yardage at their respectivepositions. It was therefore shocking the way the 1970 OrangeBowl took shape.
