Grant's buyout is 5 mil. Do you guys really think we're going to pay that, plus the additional 2-ish mil for a new coach?

Well given the potential losses in revenue next season and how far it could set us back even more, nah probably not. It's a lose/lose either way, and why the HELL did he get such a big buyout...

This is a train wreck happening while we watch. Its another "Shula" situation with no end in sight.If we don't get rid of him in a hurry, we'll be in a bind we won't be able to get out of. Damn the buy out.

I don't suppose we're the only ones in the Kingdom of Bama talking about this fiasco.

Any of Tennessee's teams over the last several years.

It is a broken record.  When Alabama got down 6, I knew it was over.  Stopped watching.  Once the slide begins, they cannot regain traction.  I have seen it happen 8-9 times this year.  Too frustrating to even care anymore.

are you serious? WTF has he done to merit a 5 mil buyout? Since we'll prob stuck with him at least another year, I hope he at least gets better assistants. He can hide his faults a lot better if he has decent assistants. I love me some Pettway when he played, but get a real coach.

Was does waiting another year get us, does his contract end after next season? Just doesn't make any sense, the program will go into a deeper hole if we don't shell out the money.

Games like last night give me pause when thinking about Grant's future but I know this could be a better team. I highly doubt Bama would execute the 5 mil buyout so it's safe to say he has another year remaining but it would be nice to end this year on some positive notes instead of another losing streak.

Still do.
Jarnell Stokes is ridiculous.
McRae and Maymon are very good too.

Yeah, it would.. but I don't feel especially good about that happening.

@South Carolina
@ A&M
Missouri

Next three games, on the road against two teams near the bottom. Who knows, maybe Missouri becomes a bigger game than we thought.

They have 2 NBAers.  No reason for them to be this bad in this awful conference
