Use to wear a nice fossil years ago, but I'm now a phone time checker. I'm surprised anyone wears them today unless it's formal.

Speaking of watches, is anyone even interested in the watch phones? I haven't heard a single person say they wanted one. Besides this guy from Miami, comes to this area to hunt during this time of year.

I used to wear a Fossil watch before I lost both hands trying to save a car load of orphans from a burning, out of control 18 wheeler hauling running chainsaws...

i actually have several that i wear

everyday, casual i wear a regular ol' timex expedition...inexpensive, can take a beating, but if it breaks or something, i'm not overly concerned.
during workouts, exercise, yardwork, or such i go with a timex ironman. really ideal, especially for timed workouts.
for Gamecock sporting events, I have a stainless steel watch with a garnet face and Gamecock block C logo on the face. again, not an expensive watch, but it completes the gameday attire nicely.
for formal, i have a Movado ESQ, not exactly like this one below but very similar- the only real difference is a black leather band rather than brown;

the reason i dont rely solely on my phone as a timepiece is that i cant stand always having to reach into my pocket and pull my phone out to check the time. i find myself constantly curious about what time it is. when it comes to workouts, i dont rely on my phone for timed workouts because i use it for music, and i dont like having to turn my arm constantly to see where i'm at on time.

I have tried wearing the metal banded watches and they just feel too cumbersome and heavy to me. I much prefer the leather band on my Lucien Piccard, much like Pilgrim's Movado. Classy and comfortable.

Well I added a Tissot and a Canadian Momentum base layer watch to the collection this Christmas. An utlra liberal college buddy sent me a Human Time Project ocean raider watch (if you buy one they send a watch to a person in a 3rd world nation that needs a watch like nurses and such) and its an interesting looking watch.

The pamphlet that came with it talked about nurses needing to time contractions, teachers needing to time tests that sort of thing. My liberal friend did it as a jab at me. Last year I bought him a case of Two if by Tea (Rush Limbaugh's company) and did a donation to Sara Palin's PAC so he got an autographed photo of her.

I wear a watch every day. I used to use my phone for time in college, but once I started working I got one. I think it makes you look more professional plus it's more appropriate for work then busting out a cellphone. This is mine:

Recommend me a watch watch lovers.

I've had the previously mentioned Ecodrive Skyhawk Blue Angle edition for quite some time.  It's starting to get pretty beat up after a decade+ of daily wear, crystal scratched up, surround chipped up, etc etc.

I've got $350 from Christmas and am considering a new watch.  I could probably add some more scratch to the $350 if I found something I really liked.

Soooo GO!

Except when I'm sleeping, I always wear a watch (and have all my life).  I have two watches.  One is more of a formal watch while my every day watch is a Suntime SC Gamecocks watch.
