I guess I know who to PM if I am planning a trip to Europe. Did u guys use a tour service or just wing it? If service, who do u recommend? @jacobp, @nova

I winged it, nothing to it.  Europe is cake.  I can give you some advice from my experience if you need or want it...

how do you like that gshock?  For a kick around watch they look well built.

It's honestly the best watch I've been able to find in the $20-$40 range. It is well built and I had one that lasted me a good 4 or 5 years.

All of the watches I want are too expensive for me to justify buying.  I would only wear one to formal events

There are some deals to be had on watches. I verified the online site I used to buy the Tissot was an authorized dealer and bought a 300.00 entry level Tissot for 150 then used the holiday special and point from being a repeat customer and got it for 80.00. It is worth 80.00 to see if how they hold up and with everything I read about them says they are solid from the watch snob forums. I refuse to pay for than 1,500.00 for a watch and will look for deals or secondary brands made by the company and use known movements to save on a watch I really like. Pulsar and Alba are made by Seiko, Q&Q is made by Citizen ect. I just look at the movement and the "glass" and read reviews for the company and save money. Unless you are trying to impress someone else with a brand watch that they will recognize and know the value of you can score some awesome watch deals and real watch snobs will know you did well.

Rolex (unless its over 50 years old) is over rated. You can literally buy a Chinese knock off and no one would know the difference until it got submerged in water and crapped out.

Daily. I have an Citizen Echo, Fossil and Kenneth Cole. When you can't wear your phone in the military, you get used to wearing a watch. Feel naked without it now.

Just used some Christmas money on this new g-shock. Tried a velcro band on a cheap timex for the last year or so and hate it. This one should last me until my 30's hopefully.

Yep, I wear a wristwatch whenever I leave the house.
For the last several years, I have worn a Grenen; got it from Kohl's on an Internet order.  Very reasonably priced for such a good watch.

I have 12 watches...two G-Whole for training and events, a Citzen, Fossil, among others. I love watches and use them all the time.
