So everyone knows that liberal non native Americans have taken up the banner of the 7 native Americans offended by the Washington Redskins name and mascot but did you know that's no the only team under fire? Since the Ole Miss black bears started caving in and the Washington bullets became the wizards the movement has grown quite bold. The Atlanta Braves and chief knockahomer(I think that's still his name) and the Indians chief Wahoo are now under fire by these groups. The groups have targeted anything connected to violence (Pirate and Bucs) or offensive (Braves, Seminoles, Redskins, Indians) in an attempt to make the teams the cheer for a reflection of their moral values and socially acceptable to them.

Oddly enough the Rhode Island school of design giant penis didn't make the list. The point is these mascot and names don't offend real people just over sensitive asswipes that need to grow up and get over their childhood fantasy of they are special and they matter. Because they aren't and don't. If you are offended by a mascot don't support the team. Change the channel or grow up and get over it.

Growing up and acting like an adult and getting over stuff really has become a lost art in this country. People tend to think they are special and that the world should adjust to them way too much and for way to long.

I don't understand the title of this thread but I think I agree with its contents.

We won't have to stack the box, our athletes are better. Read the first sentence, Auburn won't have over 175. Bet anything you want, it's not gonna happen. That's the one thing Bama can do without a doubt 100% mark it down, and have been for years.

If you're going to bet, it will be longer than signing day. This is a rivalry that lasts 365 days, you would have to at least keep it until next football season or this isn't even worth mentioning. Besides, Bama could be winning late in the game and the scrubs get the 200.
Either way, it won't be happening to Bama's defense.

I agree but I feel that as long as there is a name for a team that would offend YOU, then there's no room to talk.

Example...would a team called "The Arizona Jesuses" bother you? Would you go on a crusade (lol) to have it changed? Then STFU about these people wanting the same.

If not, I agree. I for one dont give a flying F about any team names.

I know the people who claim to be Seminoles and who whine about the name and want it changed are those who got moved after the Seminole Wars. Those who stayed and still reside in Florida take pride in the name and basically lead the charge to leave it the way it is.

Changing a name because people are too sensitive is a dumb thing to do.

My freshman intramural football team was the fighting WASPs. I was on a Dorm intramural football team that was the crackers. The black guys on the team loved calling each other cracker.

I remember being around adults as a kid and seeing how they acted. Its so different than it is today. When something offended them they laughed it off and didn't fool with it again. Now it shock, mortification and lawsuits. The pussification of this country is something my generation will never be forgiven for.

I could understand if native Americans were the driving force behind the Washington Redskins name change but they are not. Its been the team name for how long now and is just now an issue? Its people being offended for them that's driving this. Fake PC at its finest. And any Cleveland Indians fans, y'all are next.

The teams are the nads, balls etc and the cheerleaders are athletic supporters. Funny as hell.
