"Whenever I see those crimson jerseys and crimson helmets, I feel humbled to have played football for Alabama. Other players in the NFL talk to me about their schools and their traditions. I just smile knowing the immense love Alabama fans have for our school and its football program. I'm proud to be a part of that Crimson Tide heritage."

My butthole is just fine, thank you.  What you may hear are the sobbing tears of all the butthurt folks across the country who had convinced themselves Saban was as good as gone.

You cannot tell me at some point you didn't at least worry somewhere in the back of your mind if maybe just maybe he would go.

Worry isn't the word really, we all wanted him to stay and would be upset with him leaving given the ending of this year as well. But we wouldn't be able to be too pissed, given what's he done for Alabama.

No, I didn't.  Do you know why?  Because not one "source" saying he was going to Texas was substantiated........not one.  Random media people in the state of Texas saying it was going to happen aren't exactly something to hang your ten gallon hat on.
