Murphy leaving makes no sense.

He stayed with the program for 3 years not expecting to start.  The year after given the opportunity to play, he decides to transfer?

Murphy is also not that good... where does he expect to go, to a SunBelt team?  There has to be some major personal issues between Murphy and Muschamp.

That's a lot to lose on one side of the ball; along with any others they were going to lose because they were Sr's or were going to try and jump to the No Fun League.  Why did they abandon the Spread after so much success with it to begin with??    Other than the one who will graduate the others would have to go the JC route to play right away unless they are willing to drop down.  If any drop down they'll most likely never get another shot at playin SEC ball.  My guess is the phones & email have been busy at MGCCC.  Load up the Bullpuppies for another run at the JCNC  then see Coach Freeze sign 'em all!    REBEL!!

Lol, Nobody was leaving our Offense to go to the NFL. That would be career suicide

Meyer=Spread
Muschamp=Pro-Style

2 have graduated, and most transfers don't go the JC route. Especially if they're only freshman.

Freeze has run out of Money from Treadwell and Tunsil so that's probably unlikely.

College & Pro football are littered with the carcasses of Great OC/DC's who tried and failed to be HC's.

I thought Muschamp pretty much was hands OFF the O side of the ball?  I know the HC needs to have his hands on all things to some point but I thought I read in SI after he took over the Swamp that he was going to keep away from the Offense for the most part and let his OC & those coaches run things.  Guess I was wrong.

He is hands off of the offense, but that doesnt mean he doesn't hire coaches that run the system he does.

   But why would he or who convinced him to dump the system that was working & more importantly the system the offensive players there were recruited to run/play??

It isn't really a 'system' when your O linemen start blocking each other.

I agree, he's an idiot.
Never expected to play a single down. Starts 6 games. Sucks.
Leaves when for the 3rd time in 4 years, he will be a third stringer.
I think his only other offer out of high school was Temple.

I don't deserve to.
But I still haven't changed my mind about that. Foley doesn't make hires to stop the bleeding.
If Muschamp shits the bed this year, it's over.
You can't take this long to learn on the job.

One of our best plays on offense all day unfortunately.
