People keep mentioning Tennesse's recruiting class but fail to mention they still have Butch Jones.

Lose our entire o-line, lose 2 of our 3 consistently good defensive players(unless AJ decides to return), our punter/kicker/kick off guy/team MVP(Palardy)...and you guys think we might end up celebrating winning an SEC East title? We'll be lucky if we get to celebrate like this:

I'd take Butch over every other coach in the east besides Franklin & Spurrier. Even though he beat Spurrier

Tennessee was absolute horseshit last year. I think they've already improved under Butch....

Not to be Debbie Downer, but I was thinking the same thing before you posted this.  You win and lose in the SEC with defense and the oline.

I just don't see UT having much of either next year.

I do think you take a step foward, but maybe to 4th in the East.

If we are going based off which teams have a shot at winning the SEC, from that list it's only UGA or UF.

No body else on that list has the talent to be anything, but spoiler for someone else.

I think Butch Jones is a very good football coach.  That being said, I don[t think we['ll improve enough to make much noise next season.  Our talent level is going up quite a bit, but we will be too young to threaten the top tier teams.  I think we'll see flashes next year and that['s about it.  In 2015, we should have talent and experience.
