The Longhorn Network just tweeted that Mack Brown will resign.

And sometimes I despair the world will never see another man

Damn CK8, you are brutal man!... that's like rubbing salt into zartan's wound.... Just think about it, 9 more freakin years of Saban and college football will probably rename it the Nick Saban playoff system.

Pump yer brakes buddy

Lets see you make it to best team in Alabama first

Just a random thought...

Why not Petrino? He'd be cheap and it could be a yearly contract scenario. If Texas can't get the coach they want this year, no big deal, next year you have more choices. I mean where else can you get a quality interim coach/possibly the right guy? He has everything to prove to regain his reputation, he knows the recruiting area, and worse case scenario you fire him anytime you want and nobody questions you for it.

"Whenever I see those crimson jerseys and crimson helmets, I feel humbled to have played football for Alabama. Other players in the NFL talk to me about their schools and their traditions. I just smile knowing the immense love Alabama fans have for our school and its football program. I'm proud to be a part of that Crimson Tide heritage."

Shaw would be a great hire...no doubt. Franklin a little meh.

Why isn't Briles mentioned more? He would do great things there...

Texas "we can buy Saban he's coming blah blah blah"

Reality Texas trying to hire Vandys coach.

No kidding anybody but Briles and Petrino and Texas should have just stayed with what they had.
"I didn't come to Alabama to win 10 games a year and be a contender. I came here to win championships, Conference Championships, and National Championships. I love it here because that's not just what I want, but what this fan base expects." -Alabama Head Football Coach Nick Saban
