"Since the all-important meeting has been delayed, it could push back the timetable for a resignation announcement to after Friday's football banquet."

"Whenever I see those crimson jerseys and crimson helmets, I feel humbled to have played football for Alabama. Other players in the NFL talk to me about their schools and their traditions. I just smile knowing the immense love Alabama fans have for our school and its football program. I'm proud to be a part of that Crimson Tide heritage."

He needs to just drop the act at this point lol... As if Wade had not already thoroughly destroyed his little pretend game.

It doesn't make a difference at this point GT...you can stop.

That sounds more like it, which in my mind I was thinking Bama could/would.

Hell if I know how this will all end, there is definitely fire...but is it from Sexton or Saban is the question at this point.

I think the administration at UT has no balls and no clue

They might have cost their football program dearly with their lollygagging

Well they have to be careful, a lot of talk about breach of contract due to these "talks" and "offers" going on.

I have been reading Texas forums almost nonstop for 3 days

The perception is that they are twiddling their thumbs...hemming and hawing

A lot of the fan base has jumped the gun on this anyway.

Going to be some melt downs either way.

The perception I've gotten from texas fans is that this weekend is when things should happen, beginning with butter-tooth's "resignation." Old :lanekiffin: refuses to leave though. hahah selfish old bastard wants to keep drinking prune juice and running the program into the ground. They are going to have to fire his old ass regardless of who they hire.
