Had you beaten Auburn and Mizzou your schedule would not look like shit.

What is being overlooked (and ironic) is that Alabama's SOS in the chart shown is actually better than both MSU and Baylor.  Where's the logic in that?

I "think" he gave them the nod because they won their conference, for what that's worth. I dunno.

It's a hard thing to judge. I KNOW for a fact that Bama is better than all those teams except maybe FSU and AU. The problem is in the numbers and how they shake up in the end.

Same way Au would have been left out had OSU finished their shitty season undefeated.

I think you are correct.  It is the logic used across the country to exclude the SEC whenever possible.  I don't know if we are better, but I like our chances against either MSU or Stanford, and I would have loved a shot at tOSU!!

Point is, the playoff is gonna be more controversial than the bcs.... lots-a panties in a wad
When it's 3rd and 10, we shuffle out our secret weapon... he's the only person we ever want calling the next play... some call him the twelfth man.... we call him the whiskey drinker...

Yeah.  The only real difference is that there will be more teams whining and complaining.

The teams will be selected from less "science" and more "magic"

Picking teams out of a magical biased hat.  Sweet can't wait.

Stanford's SOS is better. They beat better teams. The only reason Alabama is #3 is because they started at #1 and lost a close one to #4.

I am NOT saying Bama is a worse team than Stanford. I think y'all wipe the floor with them and ARE #3. I just mean that his argument for putting them above y'all makes complete sense to me.

Anyone who thinks that things are going to be the same and that they are going to be trying to match up the four best teams, either hasn't been attentive to what is going on or doesn't understand what is going on. There are now five major conferences. There are going to be four playoff spots. They will all be Champions of 4 of those 5 conferences.

Stanford has 2 losses and one came against a bad Utah team.
