I've been confused by both sides trying to equate not affording a $3,000+ trip with being trailer park trash or poor, etc... Most middle class families can't afford that, either.
I'm just trying to say that neither side is richer than the other, both have their poor, and both have their rich. Neither program is a Notre Dame where a large number of their fans are richer than nmost. Neither one is guaranteed to bring a significant advantage in home field advantage.

Yeah, I definitely agree that neither side has any inherent advantage in terms of ticket sales, I just dislike the notion that if you can't afford the trip you're automatically poor, which seems to be coming from Auburn fans as much as anyone else. People on welfare could probably afford the trip more easily than a lot of working people.

We won't have to stack the box, our athletes are better. Read the first sentence, Auburn won't have over 175. Bet anything you want, it's not gonna happen. That's the one thing Bama can do without a doubt 100% mark it down, and have been for years.

If you're going to bet, it will be longer than signing day. This is a rivalry that lasts 365 days, you would have to at least keep it until next football season or this isn't even worth mentioning. Besides, Bama could be winning late in the game and the scrubs get the 200.
Either way, it won't be happening to Bama's defense.

Agreed.
I am taking a plane trip up to philly to go to the saints playoff game, but the only reason I have the money to do this is because I am on scholarship, work a job, and have no bills. Of course this will change once I go in the real world and have much less spending money.

Sorry if I offended you or anyone else by saying this, I was just making a point.

Yup, for people that can afford it I say go for it... In 2010 when Auburn went to the BCS game I'd just put $7,000 down on a new car in October so I couldn't go. This year I bought a new house this month so, same situation. I'm starting to think that I need to make major purchases every late fall now...

I went to Arizona but I'm not gonna lay down that kind of dough this year. We got to take the girls to Disney world in March, I just had to buy a new truck, and we bought some land a couple of months ago that took a hefty down payment. Besides, there will be plenty more chances.

I hope.

Raises hand. Yea it worries me a lot. They were impressive on offense and ran a good zone read, and FSU shut them down.

Best team doesn't always win.. play that game 10 times they probably win 2 but they won the 1 that counts. Good luck to them Bama will be back no doubt.
