I think Krieg has just gone over the deep end

No. I'm not sure what constitutes the "deep end" exactly, but if bama was ranked #2 and headed to Pasadena, I would've hunted @Benny down, killed him, and changed the site to KRIEGTalk.com. The only topics of discussion would be Scandinavian metal & Ron Paul. All who opposed either would immediately be banned.

I'm quietly rooting for SC in this one.  Wife is from Wisconsin but hey.....it's the SEC.  No brainer.

They have two 1,000 yard rushers, and their loss to Arizona State was bullshit. Safe to say I'm not looking forward to this. I'll say Carolina by 7.

2 of our starting WR's(and top 2 recievers), Bruce Ellington(basketball) and Damiere Byrd(knee) wont be playing in the bowl game.

Also, with Ahmad Christian's decision to transfer, we have 3 CBs.

not looking good so far, hopefully noone else gets hurt.

Are you sure about Ellington?   I imagine the NFL draft advisory board response will simply be "You've got to be joking" if he skips on the bowl game for basketball.

And Wisconsin is going to run/run/run so I'm not worried about Ahmad's transfer for this game.  I'm definitely nervous about next yr if Vic does leave.

not sure but I've heard from a few people.

Even if they're running, if we don't have the bodies to sub in at CB, they're just gonna hammer the edges and beat up our small guys till they get gassed. But hopefully they dont, we'll see.

This is going to be a tough match-up similar to the Michigan game last year.  No way I see a blow-out either way.  It's why most respected analysts have this as one of the top 3 bowl games this year.  Wisconsin is probably under-rated and we're a bit over-rated, imo.  Should be a good one.

I'm expecting a SC win. It'll be tough, but usually in these matchups the SEC pulls away in the 2nd half. They just don't see the talent and athleticism that SEC teams see on a consistent basis. They look good enough as far as total offense and defense goes...but I'm guessing that's a little inflated due to playing a lot shit teams. The last time we faced a good rushing team from the big 10 they tried to wear us down, but by the end of the game they were the ones who were worn down, and it looked like the nebrasska backs were tired of being hit. Didn't we hold the cornhuskers to negative yards in the 4th quarter? Obviously these are different teams, but that's a trend when the SEC and big 10 face off.

Plus we are much more balanced on offense, and I expect Shaw to be really focused in his last game as a Gamecock. Plus he hasn't lost a bowl as a starter, and will really want to further his Gamecock legacy. It'll be tough to get the win, but I really expect SC to take care of business.

And they lost to a Penn State team made up of walk-ons pretty much. It was 31-14 with 5 minutes left; they scored twice in garbage time.

I don't see whisky having an answer for one of the most overlooked qb's in the SEC. Shaw should have a big game with his legs.. slow footed yankees

Are you using the ESPN Power Index thing? That thing is absolutely awful.

Out of v the three sec big ten games tomorrow,  this v one has the most potential fur an sec slip up.
Though lsu is often unpredictable in bowl games.

I think LSU is the most likely slip up with Mettenberger being out.
