Smokey...remember you go to win 6 to get to go...if you had only beat Vandy you'd be in the wonderful Gator Bowl. Teams on probation don't get to go either...your team will be in both catagories very soon.....losers and on probation....LOL 41-18 14-10
I hope Franklin tried covering up the vandy gang bang...

What are we going on probation for that would proclude  bowl game? APR is good to go, no hint of scandal with the recruiting class.

And the playoff for next year will effect 4 teams so even if the playoff was this year Vandy still get the the only bowl the SEC can force to take them.

Speak for yourself..Slive has done nothing for Vandy!!!

What are you looking for?  Do you expect him to be your starting CB or something?  You've won 8 games, not 12.  STFU and do your talking on the field.

Vandy has never once played a home game in Nashville.

If you think the SEC relationship isn't beneficial to Vandy, well, there's nobody holding a gun to your head keeping you here.....

The SEC has given way more to State in every sport except maybe baseball than we've given to it, I have to admit.

Hogan, I like you as a poster so I don't want to sound like a dick head here but when I told you Franklin will be leaving Vandy and you said why.  We give him this, we give him that, attendance is up, etc.  I didn't want to argue but your bowl game is a reason why.  It will be a constant up hill push for Franklin to get Vandy to be respected.  He'll get tired of winning 6-9 games a year and still being the shit stain on SEC football.  I hope y'all retain him and remain competitive but I highly doubt it.

There are currently 13 jobs better than Vandy in it's own conference.  There are countless other jobs in the ACC, B1G, Big 12, and Pac 12 that are "easier" than Vandy.  I honestly can't name one job that isn't easier than Vandy out of the BCS conferences.  Franklin is doing a great job.  In my opinion it's really nothing short of remarkable that not only has he won like he has but that he is still in Nashville.

May the bridges I burn light the way.

MSU sold it's entire alotment of Liberty Bowl tickets overnight, with more on the way, with most of those pre-sold.  If you want a better bowl game, that's the kind of stuff you've got to do...

1 regular season win over teams with winning records in 3 years kinda skews the remarkable part of the job he has done.
