Before the season, I predicted Auburn to win 10 games (12), finish 3rd in the SEC West (1st), and Tre Mason to lead the SEC in rushing with 1,584 yards (1,621).

So when even I'm underestimating Auburn, beware. Next year I predict 10-2, and Roc Thomas to finish second in rushing with 1,152 yards. So, in essence, the only logical presumption is that he finishes with 1,498 yards, and Auburn goes 14-0.

This is all assuming Mason goes to the NFL. If he stays, it's fairly obvious that we'll change our mascot to the Jaguars and finish 11-5, 1st in the AFC South.

You said we would be Oregon east and you were right. Even I was skeptical.

The Artis-Payne/Thomas combo is gonna be murderous next year. Probably both gonna have 1000 yards along with Marshall.

Really? WTF would I downgrade Auburn like that.

lol, I remember that discussion. I actually stated that in 2-3 years, our team would look a lot like Oregon offensively and defensively, considering the athletes we bring in as opposed to Oregon. I would never predict in a million years that anyone could win the SEC with first year HC.

Do you think Mason goes? I think if he stays he'd solidify a first round pick...

Next year will be a big test for Auburn, we all know SEC coaches will be working all offseason to figure out Malzahn's gimmick offense.

He'd be a second rounder this year and NFL backs have a low shelf life.

Although his family is loaded because of De La Soul so if money is no motivation there's a chance. Greg Robinson's family is pretty poor though, would be shocked if he stayed.

GR would also make more money if he stays another year. God I hope the only player we lose is Holland. At this point, Parkey is our biggest loss, and that hurts us more than one could imagine.... I don't even remember the last time an opposing team returned a kickoff.

Eh, Malzahn is first year head coach by technicality. He ran Chiziks team. Its obvious, look what happened when he left.

Robinson will be a top 15 pick this year, he's gonna make plenty of money.

You realize we have a high school all american kicker AND punter waiting behind Parkey and Clark, right? They both have bazookas.

That's good to hear, who's Parkey's backup?

I still think it sucks. I like Parkey, and it's not because he looks like a 12 year old boy.

I see Mason staying. He's not gonna win the Heisman this year, but he knows now that he'll start next year with Heisman hype (as opposed to getting ignored until after the regular season ended this year), giving him a great chance to win it if he dominates all year long like this.

Plus, there would be a chance at winning two NC's in a row.

I won't blame Robinson if he leaves, but if he stays he can be a top five overall pick (if not number 1 overall) in 2015.

We won't have to stack the box, our athletes are better. Read the first sentence, Auburn won't have over 175. Bet anything you want, it's not gonna happen. That's the one thing Bama can do without a doubt 100% mark it down, and have been for years.

If you're going to bet, it will be longer than signing day. This is a rivalry that lasts 365 days, you would have to at least keep it until next football season or this isn't even worth mentioning. Besides, Bama could be winning late in the game and the scrubs get the 200.
Either way, it won't be happening to Bama's defense.

Jimmy Hutchinson is the back up punter and Daniel Carlson is the backup kicker. Both were ranked in the top 5 specialists in the country.

Carlson is 6'5" 220 so he has quite a leg.

If we win the national championship there's not really much reason to come back. You shouldn't pass up millions of dollars to chase a trophy.
