I'm anxious to see the buyout. They didn't throw the bank at him so that is a good sign, which we know how these coaches contracts go, hes liable to get another one next year. I hope they give the assistants significant raises also, all of them.

I feel good about this.

Which is the opposite of how the Chiz contract made me feel (dread....)

Yea, I'm not really worried about our buyout, I want it to be a lot if someone tries to poach him.

Serous question. Do ya'll trust Jacobs as far knowing his shit ? He just seems to be all over the place. Heard him on Finebaum today and was just wondering.
"Whenever I see those crimson jerseys and crimson helmets, I feel humbled to have played football for Alabama. Other players in the NFL talk to me about their schools and their traditions. I just smile knowing the immense love Alabama fans have for our school and its football program. I'm proud to be a part of that Crimson Tide heritage."

No. Jacobs is a shitwipe, but Malzahn is the truth.

Thanks for the honesty. He just sounds like hes talkin' outta both sides of his mouth and just pumps sunshine even if its raining.

He's been shitty, but I have to give him credit for making the right choice on Malzahn. Then he hired Galloway in baseball and the Arizona St coach in softball. So he has made some hires that he had to to keep his job. They say he's one of the best at raising money. The contract extension is something he had to do to keep Malzahn here. I expect a lot of upgrades coming next year also. Malzahn is gonna force AU to do something they've never done and I like it.

So you think the raise was not warranted?

I'd agree with that, except for Rhett Lashlee.
