If offered,Malzahn should go.These type jobs don't open very often.Texas self recruits and with the weak conference and new playoff system he could be sh!ttin in high cotton.

I believe his ego would say yes.

Gus is more loyal than people think. he remained at AU as an OC under CHIZIK, turning down Vandy and only left once Chizik drove him insane.

The guy loves it here.

Then again, Texas is the only school I'd fear losing him to.

I hope he stays there to see what he can do in the long run.Not being a hater, just curious to see what type of system he'll recruit to.

He can air raid and he can run,I wonder if he'll be able to maintain a balance and if he will recruit defense well.

This will be an interesting watch.

No offense, but Gus leaves when it is in Gus' best interest.Don't be fooled. And I don't hate the guy,It's just an observation and opinion.

If he's here for 5 years and we win an SEC title or two I'd be very happy.

So far in his year as head coach we've landed more defensive star recruits than offensive. All three 5 stars from our 2013 class were defensive lineman.

I just don't want my comments on him to be conceived as anything other than an honest opinion.

I'm aware that he has made some excellent career choices. I'm just of the opinion that Auburn is not a stepping stone school. We can go toe to toe with the UF's, Ohio State's and Bama's of the world when it comes to fanbase, facilities, money, etc.

That's why I'm confident. If he goes, it's to the NFL.

As I said, Only texas really worries me.
