After Oregon, Dayton is the only team that really worries me on our OOC schedule.

Dayton is one of those mid-major teams that always ends up with a good RPI.
Donovan tries to schedule of lot of those for us, because they are cheap "good wins".

Which RPI did you use?  This one doesn't look so good either.

it is still too early to mark us out for good, but I will say the last game was a big disappointment. we still have games against Wichita State, Xavier, and UCLA to come, so that RPI should hopefully get a boost over the next month.

It seems like the past 3 years UT was suppose to make noise and make the tourney. I'm losing more and more respect for Martin. He under achieved last year and is doing the same this year. Wasting a lot of talent right now. Tennessee's fault for hiring a coach that hasn't even been to the damn tourney. He's making that used car salesman they had look like a HOF coach.
so true....

SC almost beat Baylor at Baylor, so UK should have no trouble with them.
Think ya'll have a shot against the 'Boys on Friday?  Seems like USC is more competitive this season.  Don't know whether it's going to translate into wins and losses.  The conference isn't great (again) so maybe CFM will be able to capitalize.

I like that we were competitive against Baylor on the road and had a chance to pull out the W.  I wasn't as thrilled that we didn't seem to do well against Clemson on the road though.  I didn't get to watch that game, but it appears we were down quite a few points from the start and ended up losing by double digits (at least from what I read after the game).

Oklahoma State will be tough at home.  I think they're ranked somewhere in the Top 15 or so?  Hopefully, we'll keep it close, but I'm not expecting a W.  I do like what Frank Martin is doing with this team though, although I don't have any big expectations until next year (or maybe the year after).  As bad as we were when he took over, it'll take a few years for him to "right the ship."  I do like that he's scheduling good OOC competition.

Definitely.  Not being scared to play good OOC games always helps.  Hell, in this conference, it's almost a prerequisite if you want to avoid the proverbial bubble.

Too much parity in basketball to believe that we won't have trouble with them especially with our young group still so early in the season but I will admit, it made me feel a bit easier about this game after seeing your alls game.  Should have a nice homecrowd for us there as the Harrison twins and Randle will have plenty of friends and family there in Texas for the game.
