To be fair, Washington was a special kind of bad when he took over there. They were coming off 9-28 three season stretch and they were 0-12 the year before he took over. What he's done there is pretty impressive, considering what he started with.

All due to Tyrone Willingham's ineptitude...

This is a B- hire.  Would UF, Bama, UGA, or even South Carolina hire a guy with a 34–29 record and 24-21 in the Pac-12 over five seasons.?

B-? I'm thinking C at the highest. They just fired a guy for doing what he's done and then when his interim does better they can him? They didn't change anything.

It would be awesome if we could let bygones be bygones and bring Coach O back.

South Carolina went 1-21 over 1997-1998.  Holtz took us much hire in the nations toughest conference.  There are other coaches out there way better.

Horrible hire. I don't know why Haden was so eager to hire someone immediately. They struck out on this one, he'll never win a NC under him imo.

Because Pat Haden is an idiot.

Why? There are probably lots of men running around Southern Cal with their shirts off screaming unintelligibly.

Sark was who they wanted when they hired Kiffin. But his record at UW hasn't really inspired. Kind of surprised they pulled the trigger on this one so fast

Can't say I blame the CaveMan, after his masterful job when he could have been just drawing a paycheck.
