When you're running a pro-style offense and you don't use your quarterback's legs unless you HAVE too. Hence why RG3 is constantly hurt now and Cam Newton doesn't run around nearly like he used to in College or his Rookie season. The quarterback is simply too important to risk in that type of offense. In a spread or read-option spread you can run your quarterback around a lot more because the offense won't suffer that much with the #2 guy in there (typically, obviously there are exceptions)

the nfl is a completely different animal than college.  I never said he wouldn't work in the nfl, I said comparing him to a qb like brees was asinine.  as long as you put him in a pro style offense with a good offensive line and a couple good receivers, he should do well.
