They won't be happy in Knoxville at 5-7 but he won't get fired for it. No bowl by year three would probably do it though.

lol Tennessee is not going 6-6 next year and anyone who expects that has lost their damn mind. Riley Ferguson would need to be the 2nd coming of Joe Montana for us to reach 6 wins. We're losing almost every consistently good player we have.

Most of those good player were square pegs in round hole this year. Comfort in system and guys that actually play in the SEC will help. Getting guys that fit what we are trying to do will help. No actaul walkons for a reason starting or playing key roles will help. I dont expect to win the SEC or anything but its a bit soon to write them off.

3 non productive recruiting classes and a couple of bad hires will have that effect. We have been just good enough to avoid rock bottom (4 or fewer wins) with just enough talent to preclude a wholesale rebuild. College football purgatory sucks.

So what would it take for butch to get fired next year? 2-10 with a loss to GSU?

I don't care, just beat Kentucky by at least 3 points today ;)

14. Mark Richt

He would have to be caught on tape with 7 or more credible witnesses- having intercourse with a minor, while shooting a bald eagle, while selling classified information to the Taliban, in the middle of a Satanic church, while calling Obama the n-word and having a pocket full of counterfeit $100 bills.  Then maybe the University of Georgia would call a meeting and take a vote to see if they want to open up discussions to see if they want to take a vote to consider opening up discussions on possibly firing Richt.
