Clemson's OL is still porous, and Boyd is still unstable when he's under constant pressure from quality DLs. Clemson is in the 100s in QB sacks allowed and TFL allowed. USC has a top-25 rushing offense and CU's worst defensively against the run this season. USC is decent at 3rd-down conversions and excellent (9th in FBS) in 4th down conversions. I expect us to once again look to dominate the T.O.P. and keeping our offense on the field and keeping Clemson's off of it, and pressuring Boyd constantly when he gets on the field. The environment and home-crowd fervor will only add to the pressure...

I'm sure all the Clemson homers think they're going to win like the last couple of years.

And USC will continue to lol at Clemson on their way to another win to make it 5 straight

Let me get this straight. We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and will be fined for if we don't, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that hasn't read it but exempts itself from it, signed by a president who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese and financed by a country that's broke.

What could possibly go wrong?

Clemson's biggest road game this year was NC State in front of 53,000 fans.   Even if they don't make any changes at the line, that's still going to cause them problems.   If the line moves a split second early, that's 5 yards.  If it moves a split second too late, that's 5 on a sack.

I think having Brandon Wilds back now is huge.   Carson has improved a lot since the beginning of the season, but having two backs who punish their tacklers will pay big dividends in the 4th quarter as we run the clock out on #5.

If we do what we have done the past four years we win.  And that is donminate both lines.

I feel confident that our oline will give us time to pass and wholes enough to run.

If our dline plays to their talent Carolina makes it 5 in a row.

lol, your avatar and sig

Clemson +5 is pretty damn fishy. I'd be surprised if it isn't Clemson +3 by kickoff.

Pharoh Cooper and Shaq Roland have really stepped up of late.  Both are huge playmakers.  Along with a healthy Connor Shaw, Mike Davis, Brandon Wilds, and Bruce Ellington, etc..., I think we have more than enough fire power behind our OL to move the football.  I like the fact that Dylan Thompson is definitely going to play at some point.  It's been proven statistically that Shaw plays much better when he knows Thompson is guaranteed to get in the game.  Clemson is dangerous when given time and they've moved a 240 lb WR into their backfield for this game to help with pass protection.  If Boyd gets into a rhythm this could come down to FG's.  If Clowney and Quarles start taking turns on him, he'll start throwing it around like a drunk man and we could roll them.   As always, turnovers are always the wild card.  If we don't turn it over, I think we should win by 10 or more.  Clemson's running game isn't what it used to be (in the previous 4 games) and their DL, while improved, hasn't been that impressive.  This game may help put the FSU beat-down of Clemson into better perspective, imo.  We'll also see if we can keep our home field magic alive.

I would be very confident if I was South Carolina.
Competant OC, competant DC, competant HC, good players.

Not only does Clem$on always piss their pants, but their defense is still not anything special and obviously their offense can be stopped.

I can't wait for the Dabo press conference, win or lose.
He is sure to still be a total dumbass.
