No one's mentioned this; why're they ranked ahead of undefeated Baylor? Hell I think Auburn makes a more compelling argument to be ranked 4th, with our loss being at Death Valley @ night, and their loss was to fkn 4-6 Utah

am I missing something? Pac-12 getting too much love in the polls

Beating an overrated Ducks squad tells you all you need to know.

Beat an overrated duck team would do the same to Baylor and Auburn.
"I didn't come to Alabama to win 10 games a year and be a contender. I came here to win championships, Conference Championships, and National Championships. I love it here because that's not just what I want, but what this fan base expects." -Alabama Head Football Coach Nick Saban

Stanford's wins >>>>>> Baylor's wins.

But yeah, I agree with Auburn going ahead of both.

And ahead of Ohio State and Bama.

We won't have to stack the box, our athletes are better. Read the first sentence, Auburn won't have over 175. Bet anything you want, it's not gonna happen. That's the one thing Bama can do without a doubt 100% mark it down, and have been for years.

If you're going to bet, it will be longer than signing day. This is a rivalry that lasts 365 days, you would have to at least keep it until next football season or this isn't even worth mentioning. Besides, Bama could be winning late in the game and the scrubs get the 200.
Either way, it won't be happening to Bama's defense.

Who cares

Auburn is the last beacon of hope for a tired SEC fanbase... Few people in the country will be pulling for Bama this Iron Bowl.

Nope. In the bag.

only thing in the bag for the barn is the 150k you gave Cammie Cam....
"Whenever I see those crimson jerseys and crimson helmets, I feel humbled to have played football for Alabama. Other players in the NFL talk to me about their schools and their traditions. I just smile knowing the immense love Alabama fans have for our school and its football program. I'm proud to be a part of that Crimson Tide heritage."

Stanford is a team I just don't understand right now.  I have no idea what to think of them.

With that said, USC was playing half their season with one of the biggest idiots known to man as their head coach. They have some talent.

The simple answer is the preseason rankings.
Once those are out,
Teams work their way down by losing rather than teams working their way up based on merit.
