That might rustle some Florida jimmies. :)
Gators couldn't even fill up the O'Dome to hang a championship banner.  They couldn't fill the arena in Tampa when the SEC tourney was there.  Their team might be good, but their fanbase isn't when it comes to basketball.

In no way is Tennessee women's basketball bigger than Arkansas men's basketball. I will give Tennessee credit, they do care more about basketball than they're given credit for, but Arkansas bar none is the second most passionate fan base for hoops in this conference behind Kentucky.

This isn't even debatable.

Yep. It's going to be Kentucky v Tennessee again this year for the SEC title. I think we're preseason #6 or 7.

IMO USC will be a contender this season and for years to come under Coach Staley. I also will go out on a limb by saying that with Summitt's retirement, that Dawn Staley will become the new face of women's BB in the SEC...

Last year UNC brought in the overall #1 class with 3 5*s and a high 4*. USC has signed part of it's 2014 class of 4 players consisting of 3 5*s and a high 3* - considered a 4* by other online sites.

USC currently has the #4 class in the nation and the highest class in the SEC. We lost out on 5* Shakayla Thomas to FSU, but still have the biggest fish - overall #1 Aja Wilson, per ESPN Hoopgurlz - who will be signing in the spring. If we can get Wilson, we could have the overall #1...

And we'll be adding them to talent that has already been greatly improved over past rosters. One thing Staley has upgraded is the length of the post position with 6-4 Alaina Coates: she'll add to 6-3 Elem Ibiam who surged forward at the end of last season and hasn't looked back, and 6-3 Wilka Montout. Montout is the only senior on the roster and she plays off the bench in a reserve role, but she'll be replaced next season with 6-4 5* post prospect Jatari White who is a stud. If we can bring in 6-4 Wilson to add to Coates and White we'll be set...

In past seasons, Staley developed her teams as being highly aggressive guard-based teams that played in-your-face defense. But when the postseason came along, and when we played against the cream of our schedule such as the Vols, Texas A&M, Stanford etc., our teams struggled inside against their superior height and rebounding. Now with Coates, Ibiam, and Montout we're able to match up better with those teams, and 6-0 Aleighsa Welch - while not being the tallest player - has had the fight with those post players in the past and is a tough, gritty player down low that will still compete for leading rebounder in most games.

Welch was our leading scorer and rebounder last season, as a sophomore. She currently leads the Gamecocks with 10.8 boards, and is 2nd to Ibiam in ppg with 14.0 through 4 games. USC is 5-0 with it's win over Clemson tonight...

The perimeter positions for USC is a bit young this season but the talent there is improved. It will be exciting to watch this program develop and compete over the next few years and beyond...

I can't wait to see this class take the court.

Sucks to suck, bro.

I'm sorry, I have to take my jabs while I can. We're not good at much else.
