UK fans were very humble in 2012? Maybe you should reread the March Madness thread. Now it's true that by the NCAA tourney, all SEC fans, including UK fans, were supporting all the SEC teams that made it; but saying UK fans were humble is a bit of a stretch. I don't even remember if there was a SEC season thread that year.
Anyway, I think you're misunderstanding my point. I didn't say you were always obnoxious; I said UK fans lacked humility, and this thread and virtually every thread on UK's most populated site confirm that.
And I didn't say there was anything wrong with it, either; only that when you talk a lot of , like Cats fans obviously do (40-0, we run , etc.), you know in advance that it can backfire on you and you need to be able to handle it when things don't go your way and your opponents talk a little back.
It was actually a compliment; earlier in the thread I said UK fans talk the , and man up and own it when things don't go their way. I used UK as an example of a team's fans who man up and admit when they weren't the better team on a given night or in a given year.
