Donnavan's doing a fine job so far at Florida.Taking care of business when he's supposed to.

Kentucky may come together before it's over.

The rest of us seem to have good athletes who are trying to play basketball.

The horrid history of OM basketball has deterred me from Posted Image talking.
I started a whole Posted Image talking thread before the UK game last year, and look where that got me.
That was a great game. Noel went beast mode and got 12 blocks i think.

IIRC 6 of those should have been fouls, but I'm not complaining, we didn't play our best and the game was still close.
Still the loudest I have ever seen the tad pad, although this past weekend was close.

Ha I was not even really thinking about that.  I just saw that stat on TV after the State game.

I know, just pokin' some fun.

Anytime I hear some arbitrary stat like that from announcers I'm always compelled to see how and why they came up with that strange figure.

It ain't an Ole Miss thing, I do it when I hear stats about UF during broadcasts sometimes too... they always have to do some selective stat compiling for the audience they expect to be catering to.

Some good games tomorrow will do a little to help separate which are which... 15-4 Mizzou @ 13-6 UAr and 15-4 UK @ 12-6 LSU.

Say what you want about SEC competition, but road wins are still tough to come by even in this conference... fans better appreciate the ones they get regardless of score.

I agree, for some reason the road is brutal against anyone. And we're killing ourselves with our ratings to play in the post season.

Arkansas' gonna do Mizzou somethin dirty. I don't understand Arkansas and their crazy road problems that they've dealt with for all these years.

Ouch.

The "Little Brother" chants are very loud and very obvious in Norman.
Follwed by "Just Like Football" haha.

No love lost, I guess.

We're somehow inexplicably going to beat Alabama tomorrow with Rashaan Evans in attendance.

I don't know how we're gonna do it. I just have a feeling.

If you beat us, it won't be inexplicable. As much as I like to give Auburn crap for their (lack of a) bball program, you guys have some kind of weird ability to make us play a pretty bad game most times that we meet. Especially @ Auburn.

If the game were at Coleman, I'd say we'd win by 15-20 pts. Neutral site, we probably win by 10-15. At Auburn, it's nearly a coin flip. We're probably a better team overall, but the difference isn't as big as in years past and we're awful on the road. Plus you guys gave Florida fits for a long time at home.

What happens if they cancel? Do they reschedule for a later date?

Usually yes.
That happened to us a while back and we had to use our open Saturday to make up the game.
But I think it's usually midweek because it would be rare for both teams to have the same open week/weekend.

I don't believe there are any open weekends or weeks anymore with the SEC expansion.  Every SEC team plays on the weekend and in a mid-week game.  I could be wrong though.

Just looked, you're right.
The 2 extra games filled the only "BYEs" we used to have.
