Unfortunately for you, we are No.1 again.

Is there a sport where you guys aren't top five?

Oh, well, we do meet on the gridiron next fall

Cheerleading is one of those sports where it seems like 50 schools claim a National Championship each year.

I remember my high school claimed itself as 'national champs' in cheerleading nearly every year, lol.

Well that figures. Our women's basketball program is one of the worst in the country. Though our new coach comes with a lot of accolades.

My high school had a national championship cheerleading squad too.
It was because we voted for them online all day, every day.

We are bad but we beat No.6 Kentucky in Lexington a couple weeks ago haha.
That was worth it.

Serious talk for a min, I don't think Anthony Grant will ever beat Billy Donovan. It's kind of like that teacher vs student matchup where the teacher will always win. Kind of like how Saban has blown out Muschamp in the only two times they've faced each other

I've read where we are unlikely to bite the bullet on Grant's buyout as the remainder of his contract is guaranteed money. I don't know how true that is...but it sucks. I would fully support a coaching change right now, but this looks like a situation where we might very well be stuck with him for a while longer. I can only hope that the five new incoming players next year might make a difference.

I'm beyond disappointed in the lack of progress of our juniors...Nick Jacobs, Levi Randolph and Rodney Cooper. Granted, those guys are FAR from the only problems, but two years ago we thought that we'd be a much better team once those three developed...and they haven't developed at all.

Grant's raise/extension was given right after Year 3, when we finally made the NCAA Tournament (as a 10-seed) and lost in the first round in a close game to Creighton (with a team largely compiled of freshmen and sophomores). At the time, there was promise for the future, but the extension was definitely premature.

Man, unranked Creighton beat the Posted Image out of #4 'Nova; beat them by 28, 96-68.

Take care of our own business this week and we may have another spot open up ahead of us in the rankings.
