The Anniston Star posted a report that he was done for the season, but it was immediately taken down.  Speculation is that the info is accurate, but they had been asked to hold the info until Saban's noon presser, but posted it accidentally.

Really sucks.  He never had the elite physical skills, but made up for it with great instincts and a motor that never quit. That pick-6 against the Aggies was a thing of beauty.

I love the way he is always around the ball. He always knows what's happening on the field. He is a great asset. I hope he gets well very, very soon. We miss him already!

Saban said in the TNews that it looked "bad". Doesn't sound good.

I'm hearing he's done for the season and that sucks I really like the way Vinnie plays.
"I didn't come to Alabama to win 10 games a year and be a contender. I came here to win championships, Conference Championships, and National Championships. I love it here because that's not just what I want, but what this fan base expects." -Alabama Head Football Coach Nick Saban

Everyone probably knows the confirmation by now.  But yeah, he's done for this season.  Another hit in our secondary, this one probably the biggest.

My guess is partial tear. He walked off the field and was standing on the sidelines without crutches 2nd half.

Def a fan favorite and always making plays, but his coverage skills was lacking. Excited to see HaHa and Landon Collins duo. Although it sucks for our depth.

Vinnie is one of our leaders on D. we have the talent behind him, but from a leadership presence this is a huge blow. incredibly Instinctive player.
