On a side note, I'm glad Spurrier's shit talking has finally come back to bite him, if only in the least bit. Makes his team look less unified for sure.... that and his assistants fighting on the sideline

Hopefully he isn't working too hard, at least for another week or so.

Yea I do kind of wish he had handled it differently.  Star players get hurt and sit out just like everyone else.  No one gave Gurley crap for not playing.  The whole thing got blown out of proportion.  There is some communication issues and it's happened a few times this year with us for some reason.

The day before the game, ESPN interviewed Spurrier about Clowney not playing... this wasn't a gametime decision.

not true...clowney was said to be taking part in the walkthroughs and warmups prior to the game.  he was also seen in hin uniform before the game.  when the game started though, he had apparently changed.

What?  I'm not even sure what his injury is.

Not every injury is shown with an x-ray or scan.  It could be a hurt rib, a pulled muscle, or slightly injured shoulder...and none of us would be able to see that.  The players talk to the trainers and tell them what's going on and the trainers can help make a decision.  I don't really care that Clowney didn't play the other day.  Guys get hurt and need a break.  What's the big deal?  The only issue here is the media making a big deal out of it.  No one on the team cares about it and would prefer if ESPN would leave it alone.
