Brown got creative with direct snaps to backs. This saves crucial seconds hiiting the holes/ getting into the line.
Viva la sneak! It's like he heard the outcry from the fans. Forward when you only need 1 or 2!
While I think the single QB approach helped Whitlow, I think it also helped Brown. Making little plays, and running more plays helps everyone get in a rhythm, including the play caller. Brown called a much better game. The TD to Timmons, recognizing the bite on the jailbreak screen was brilliant (just the most notable play call, there were other great ones).
Defense is serviceable...
...but, we need to learn how to stop somebody when we really, really, really, need to. Rob them of their will. We gon need some more players for that, I think.
Big props to special teams for the Ellington forced fumble!
Refs, made us cross the line twice for one TD. I guess they thought they screwed up the Robinson TD?
Still much to work on, but I was happy with the fight, and I don't even really are if the Gamecocks let up a little. That's on them. Our guys fought back when they could have laid down.
Edit: forgot the best! Only one penalty on the night!! (I ain't countin' that 12 man shiz)
