TUSCALOOSA, Alabama — The Alabama football career of wide receiver Kenny Bell is over, according to posts on his Twitter page.
The senior from Rayville, La., tweeted about his future early Tuesday afternoon.

A school spokesman could not confirm the news, saying it would have to come from coach Nick Saban. A media briefing is scheduled for Tuesday evening following the Tide's afternoon practice.

Bell played in Saturday's 35-10 win over Virginia Tech, but did not catch a pass. He had 17 receptions for 431 yards as a junior, but missed the SEC and BCS title games after breaking his leg against Auburn.
Bell earned his undergraduate degree last December.
