UNC lost all it's offensive playmakers. I said if they could make plays on defense they could make it a game but I never said they would beat you. And no, holding them to 10 points isn't that impressive. Not with their youth on offense.
here's what you said....
I think this could be a very legitimate Tar Heel football team in year two of the Fedora regime. The heels went 8-4 last season with wins over Miami, VT, UVA, NCST and Maryland. They lost some talent on offense but a guy as creative as Larry Fedora can make some things happen, especially in week one against a Carolina team that we've seen slow out of the gate on Thursday night openers in the past.
We held them to <100 yards rushing, and their QB went 26-43 for less than 200 yards. We jumped out to a 17 point lead and the tarholes never made it a single digit advantage after that. Plus we held them to 3 points in the 2nd half even though to hear people tell it we were so tired we were crawling around the field. Meanwhile we put up over 400 yards of offense and only allowed 1 sack...while getting in 3 sacks against them.
But now I guess we just had a rather unimpressive win over a higschool team. You sure did change your mind a lot in just a few short days.
