But I don't feel like last night was as underwelming as others seem too.
Sure, they didn't do "great" but when you look at where this team was at the end of last year, this was a very needed and satisfying game.
Baby-steps are needed to rebuild the confidence of a team who only won 3 games the year before.
Agreed... Honestly our defense looked pretty good in the second half. Washington State isn't a good football team but they threw for 4,000 yards last year so their offense is definitely going to move the ball... What I liked is that just about every time they threw deep we either picked the ball off, dropped an INT, or swatted it down. I seriously can't think of any deep passes throw that we didn't get our hands on.. That's a massive improvement over last year.
Also, agreed with OP... Adams is going to be All-American before he leaves Auburn. I don't have any doubts about that... If he isn't starting next week, something's wrong.
