It wouldn't surprise me to see week 1 to be a competition for the starting QB between Peterman and Ferguson with Peterman winning out because of Ferguson's weight issue (185ish) and Peterman having the spring reps. If not for the competition I would expect UTs QB to be the guy just handing the ball off for the first half of the year until a freshman QB was ready.
As of right now if I had to rank the QBs
1a Peterman- can move around, good college arm, more time in system
1b Ferguson- better movement, a winner, great college arm, familiar with this type of O, needs a year in S&C program
2 Dobbs- intelligent , great arm, lacks confidence and familiarity with the system
3 Worley- good college arm, knows the system, stares down WRs, not mobile enough/likely to transfer down
