Hard to pick up on sarcasm on the Internet sometimes, but of course I expect them not to take it without their prize possession. The fact they won't admit he may not play is why this gets comical.

When somebody talks shit in football, they tend to consider the team at hand, not a possibly crippled future team. They should take the bet, but the QB stipulation is perfectly valid given their situation. They are saying their current team beats yours, not a crippled version of it. If Bama beats A&M without him at the helm due to the ncaa, then you can't say "told ya so...Bama was better, I was right preseason..." It's just not the same scenario that was discussed. Ergo the stipulation. If YOU are so sure, then make the bet... I'd even consider Auburn beating them if the NCAA takes their QB, a critical, heisman winning component of the team....
