I have the opportunity through my work to take a crash course for SQL Server that I am interested in. My finacee is also taking a crash course through our company for A+ and Net+.
I have already taken the A+/Net+ course and got the ipad.
You take the crash courses and for "course materials" they send you an ipad (latest version), a microsoft surface RT with touch cover, or Sony Xperia tablet z. All 32 GB machines. The cost for either is 50 bucks. after tuition is paid which is 3500.
Our work reimburses us for every bit of the 3500. So basically 50 bucks for whatever tablet i want.
She just signed up and went with the Surface RT w/Touch Cover.
What do i pick and what do i do with it? I love my ipad. Use it daily. The surface looks cool but dont need two of them. Not big on Sony since i bought a bravia and it went to shit a year later. I could always get one and sell it at which point the ipad would be most profitable.
