Corners - Cyrus really improved more than any other player on defense over the course of last season, and it wouldn't necessarily shock me if he ended up All-SEC. I've got to think that one of Tony Brown or Marlon Humphrey is ready to take his game to the next level. Both are immensely talented and now have a year under their belt. Bradley Sylve should be better. I also think this unit underwent some "addition by subtraction" by moving Eddie Jackson to safety. Jackson was a complete liability towards the end of the year at corner.

Safeties - I have major questions here as, as others have pointed out, Geno Smith really seems to be the only sure thing. Mo Smith and Jabriel Washington were only used sparingly last fall and are about to see their roles increased significantly. We better hope Hootie Jones can come in and perform right away.

I'd call my comfort factor with the CBs a 6 out of 10, and my comfort with the safeties a 4 out of 10. CB has more depth, more proven commodities.

D-line - 9/10
LB - 8/10

Safeties - 4/10
Kicker - 6/10
Punter - 1,237/10

There's 30 days left before the college football season starts.... so here's a list of 5 things you can do in the meantime.

But you can count me out for the last one.

I mean you can put pajamas on a tiger but why would you?
