I assume this is the right thread, I have always watched soccer but never really liked a certain team.
Under pressure from a few of my EPL friends I have decided to cheer for Newcastle and have been watching them for the past month or so. On topic though, we are in 8th on the table and a point behind Man u. I just don't see us overtaking man u and Everton is a long shot, but I will just have to wait it out and see.

It seems like all the US players are coming back to the MLS. First Dempsey, now Bradley, and I heard Jermaine Jones might be coming back too. I think it's better for them to stay in Europe and play better competition.

We need to fix the MLS season so it resembles the EPL more. We play significantly less games and our season is also not compatible with many other leagues with scheduling conflicts and also that we start our season in their offseason.

That could be a start to many changes that need to happen for the MLS to become one of the top leagues in the world.

Newcastle's a fine choice.  I was in the same spot several yrs ago and picked Spurs.  The way they've played this year it's miraculous they're just 1 point out of the top 4.  Liverpool has a much stronger squad at times, but if they keep laying the occasional egg Spurs just may steal that spot.

Gotta love what Roberto Martinez has done at Everton though.  They'll stick around til the end.

I think in the end Man City holds off Chelsea.   I don't see Arsenal hanging on, and Man City has that monstrous goal diff.

Man City is going to win the league. They have too much money and too good of strikers.

I don't really have a favorite team. I just like the game and somewhat follow the leagues.

I see the final 4 ending up
Man city
Chelsea
Arsenal
Liverpool
This is my first season watching the BPL seriously, so I am just treading in new waters here. But I don't see Arsenal holding off Man City and Chelsea.
If I had to guess a season end for Newcastle, my best hope is 6th but I realistically see us finishing 8th or 7th. We can hold off Southampton and no one below them is any threat.
